PLATEYE

PLATEYE begins in the Kingdom of Dahomey, 1859, where Prince Baako is on the cusp of manhood – having just survived the Rites of Passage and earned his place among warriors. But a deadly betrayal by a Vodun priestess sets in motion a chain of events that will change him forever. When her dark power transfers into Baako at the moment of her death, he begins to feel something shifting beneath his skin – something ancient, something hungry, something that cannot be caged.

The Little Book Of Strange Tales: Book I

Published with the assistance of BePublished.Org in April 2023, THE LITTLE BOOK OF STRANGE TALES is the debut literary release from Maryland author J.B. Ogg. An avid fan of horror and thriller authors such as Stephen King and Dean Koontz, this offering of seven original stories carrying readers through the range of emotions is sure to make hairs stand up and hearts pump harder as palms get sweaty while the pages keep turning.
“I had to get these stories out of my head before they moved to my hands,” the entrepreneur and Tennessee native joked. “I’ve always been a fan of the macabre genre and how, in ever story, somebody gets killed. I wrote these stories years ago, and after recently finding them again and retyping them, editing as I went, I felt like now was the time to put them on out.”

The Little Book Of Strange Tales: Book II

From the chilling “Song of the Siren,” where a family’s move to a new town uncovers ancient secrets, to the heart-pounding “A Wake of Vultures,” which pits a small town against a horrifying avian menace, each story will keep you on the edge of your seat. Journey through tales of cosmic horror in “Spores: A Boy and His Dog,” confront the darkness within in “The Lycan,” and witness the terrifying consequences of pursuing perfection in “Perfect.”

The Little Book Of Strange Tales: Book III

In a gripping anthology of tales, we follow characters wrestling with their destinies amid darkness. Edith Winters seeks truth in suburbia’s deceptively calm façade, unveiling profound secrets. “Off the Grid” narrates a survival plight, with humanity’s remnants facing a terrifying siege. Chloe’s spectral journey in “Alba” explores vengeance in its most haunting form. “The Fallen” depicts Gideon Reeves’s cosmic battle with malevolent forces. Detective John Anderson and his son Eddie are entrapped by their bloodline’s violent legacy
